Traffic and banner exchanges are a good, free and/or low-cost means of generating traffic to your site. Most come with a number of credits to get you started, and allow multiple URLs so that you can promote different pages. Many TEs also allow banner ads and text ads that appear in the surf bars. Using a "multi-window" browser that such as Firefox or SlimBrowser can increase your efficiency and lower the time you spend surfing, as it will allow you to save groups of TEs, and open them all in one browser window, letting you click between them with ease.
